Inspiration
We wanted to come up with an idea that incorporated food and space. After brainstorming, we decided that we could help educate the youth while meeting both of these requirements.
What it does
We've built a food playground of sorts. We have different foods "floating" in space that are able to be dragged and clicked on. Upon clicking, the website will display these fun facts. These facts will later come in handy once you attempt our quiz.
How we built it
We used HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP to design the website.
Challenges we ran into
Every member learned quite a bit learning about Github. Github was by far our biggest challenge. Besides that, we also overcame the difficulties of our draggable food items.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we created something beautiful and educational while collaborating with a brand new system.
What we learned
We learned how to properly operate as a team using Git and Github. We also learned how to apply different aspects of HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP into our website.
What's next for Food Playground
Hopefully we can expand the fun facts and create a more dynamic quiz. It would be awesome to create a more immersive and complex website.
