Inspiration

Me and my team is learning Blockchain technology from last 6 month, we explored many blockchain framework so far. We found Neo N3 is easy to learn and implement. We address the critical concern of Food Product industry with the use of blockchain and IoT technology.

What it does

Key Features of our eco system for Food Industry:

Provide complete transparency of Food product processing from raw material procurement to final delivery to end consumer.
Defining the Quality ownership and accountability of various stack holders of the product at every stage.
Provide complete traceability of product.
In blockchain based distributed eco system each participants can have separate app to interact and create a new block.
In case of Quality check failure measured by any IoT devices, further blocks cannot be created.

How we built it

We brainstorm our idea and relate Blockchain and Food Industry problem together and come up with this product implementation, In this process we approached many Food industry leaders to understand the business pain points in detail.

Challenges we ran into

It is difficult to find well structure document for Neo Blockchain implementation which can be easily refer.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to finish end to end implementation of the best industry use case using Neo Blockchain framework.

What we learned

We learnt a lot with Neo N3, It provides a flexibility to explore the blockchain feature in easy and effective way.

What's next for Food product traceability & transparency with blockchain

As a part of this Hackathon we are able to built MVP Product, still there is a scope to improvement, we will continue working on this product enhancement and take this to the next level.
