What it does

Group voting for group members to choose ordering location Provide Dining Out Experience Virtually Without Physical Interaction

How we built it

We built the bot with the help of various google API and botFather telegram bot

Challenges we ran into

Due to the limitation of google API, not every food place and restaurant can be indexed. Only food places and restaurants indexed by google will be listed. All food places results listed are based on google’s data this includes ratings, prices and distance and only places that are “open now”. Hence possibilities such as food places and restaurants being marked as “open now” in google, but in actual fact are closed due to unforeseen circumstances that may exist.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are able to initiate group orders for users' in the Telegram group. Using the Google API feature, we are also able to recommend and determine a dining place for the group.

What's next for Food for Thought

Phase 2: Integrate payment and delivery system for @MakanNowBot Phase 3: Integrate video call function in Telegram for groups to be able to chat while dining and waiting for their food to arrive.
