Inspiration
We have a friend named Jack who has some pretty wild adventures with food.
What it does
Fight off waves of food themed enemies as you try to get Jack home safe and sound! Collect weapons, items, and health powerups to help you destroy everything in your path!
How we built it
The main tools that we used were Unity Game Engine and Adobe Illustrator. Unity uses C# as the main programming language for the engine, so most of the code included is in C#.
Challenges we ran into
It was our first time doing a game that didn't use pixel art, so learning how to use Adobe Illustrator was quite the challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of a lot of our art assets as well as the overall idea of the game. We feel like this idea can be built off of a lot and can hopefully turn into a really amazing game in the future!
What we learned
We learned a lot about using Adobe Illustrator as well as sharpening our skills using the Unity Game Engine.
What's next for Food Fighters
Hopefully we can add some more content, such as enemies, bosses, weapons, levels, and more sounds. We look forward to continuing our work on this project after the Hackathon is over.
