Inspiration

Food is a basic need, yet there's so much we don't know about what we eat. I wanted to create a platform where users can explore information about different foods-their ingredients, origins, nutrition, and cultural value-all in one place. this inspired me to build a Food Encyclopaedia website.

What it does

Food Encyclopaedia allows users to search and learn about different foods from around the world. It provides detailed descriptions, nutritional facts, and interesting insights about each item in an easy-to-read format.

How we built it

We designed the front-end using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React Js.We focused on creating a simple, responsive, and informative website.

Challenges we ran into

Designing a clean and easy-to-use interface. Managing time and debugging small errors during integration.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Gained problem solving experience. Successfully created a user-friendly interface.

What we learned

We learned how to combine creativity and technology to build an informative project. We improved our skills in front-end design, API handling and collaborative development.

What's next for Food Encyclopedia

We plan to add user accounts, recipe recommendations, and AI-based food recognition features to make the website more interactive and helpful.
