Inspiration
Being from the diverse Miami area, I am aware of the social inequalities in the city, and access to nutritious food is a big problem here.
What it does
This website wanted to inform people of Miami's food deserts situation through an embed map, videos, and articles.
How I built it
I hosted it on GitHub pages, and built it using CSS, HTML, and javascript using VSCode.
Challenges I ran into
It was difficult to finish the website within the time frame, but I am overall proud of the results!
Accomplishments I'm proud of
I find the website has a friendly UI and is interactive.
What I learned
I learned a lot more about food deserts in the city and how food deserts came to be.

I hope to implement more links to organizations in the area that are trying to improve the food desert situation.
