Food Cow

Inspiration

It's super hard to eat healthy, especially with the amount of junk food all around us each day.

What it does

Food Cow uses computer vision to detect when you're eating unhealthy foods. These foods include pizza, cake, hot dogs, and more.

How we built it

I used Tensorflow, Node JS, React, and Supabase

Challenges we ran into

Using Tensorflow was relatively new to me, so it was difficult to set up the computer vision model I used

Accomplishments that we're proud of

There were lots of bumps in the road, but I was able to overcome them and make a project I'm proud of

What we learned

I learned about the powers of computer vision and how to work in a stack with new technologies

What's next for Food Cow

I eventually want to make it into a compact device so that it can be discrete and used anywhere
