Inspiration
We were inspired by the challenge Proposed by Vörður and seeing an opportunity to change and improve an old process with new technologies
What it does
We offer insurance without the need for private aggregative data collection.
How we built it
The back end is built with Go and fetches information from APIs and databases run by various state agencies. The front end is built with Javascript and React.
Challenges we ran into
Inexperience with implementing network protocols.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to split our separation of concern in two distinct components and integrating them together for a working demo
What we learned
Front end work takes more time than anticipated. Preparing and syncing our environments before the weekend would have saved us a good chunk of time
What's next for Foo Fighters
- Getting funded
- Dropping out of school
- Getting acquired by Vörður or highest bidder
- Come up with out next great idea
