This project was inspired by a moment of quiet comfort on an exhausting day, when I looked up and saw a beautiful pink cloud drifting slowly across the sky. Though it wasn’t truly shaped like a rabbit, its gentle transformation reminded me of a Korean children’s song that begins, “rabbit clouds, butterfly clouds…”—a memory that sparked the imagery of clouds becoming anything they wish, and a girl who follows them with her own expanding imagination.

In developing the piece, I explored a visual language that mirrors the nature of imagination itself—scenes that unfold without strict logic, yet feel magically connected. To express this, I combined images that shared no clear narrative or stylistic continuity—such as a realistic girl inside a suitcase and a painterly floral pattern—and used them as alternating keyframes to create fluid, dreamlike transitions.

Although the visuals follow a surreal, cloud-driven fantasy, the accompanying music introduces a contrasting layer of warmth—a light, romantic song evoking Parisian streets, sunlight, and small everyday joys. The lyrics do not describe the narrative of the work, but the gentle mood of the track complements the drifting clouds and the girl's quiet journey. Rather than matching the story literally, the music functions as an emotional counterbalance, giving the piece a soft, pleasant atmosphere that viewers can simply enjoy.

Tools used: Midjourney, Freepik, Seedance, Kling, Suno, Luma Workflow: generating imagined images → using them as keyframes to create video transitions.

One challenge was ensuring the work resonated with its intended display site: a media tower in Seoul. Beyond achieving technical completeness, I had to consider how the piece would harmonize with the urban environment and whether it could bring a brief moment of delight or escape to passersby.

Ultimately, the piece reflects the freedom of clouds that shift shape without boundaries—and pairs that visual imagination with a lighthearted soundtrack—hoping that viewers might find a moment of ease, warmth, and quiet escape amid the city’s constant motion.
