Follow-Up Therapy
Inspiration
I was inspired by knowing the importance of saving time When it comes to important conversations about one’s mental health and healing not having to worry about scheduling and payment after a session is helpful. The app also solves helping independent, private practice therapist.
what you learned
I learned how to prototype using Figma and how to use personas and journey mapping to help build Follow – Up Therapy.
What it does
Follow – Up Therapy helps clients and therapist gain some more time to conclude conversations by no longer needing to make time to schedule and pay for services during sessions.
How we built it
I built a high-fidelity prototype, using Figma.
Challenges we ran into
Gaining research insight from live users was a challenge. Using the high – fidelity prototype to test the product was helpful to gain insight on how to make improvements. It helped eliminate biases about how people understand icons. With this insight the proper changes were made to make the app more accessible.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
An innovative idea for the product’s upgrade is to sync calendars to speed deciding the best follow up date.
What we learned
Learned how to use Figma Prototyping Accessibility Guidelines Journey mapping UX skills
What's next for Follow-Up Therapy
Follow- Up therapy after being developed can be utilized by therapist who work alone. The app can be very helpful to help manage one’s practice as a receptionist would. More features can be included and a provider’s login can also be created.
