Purpose
FolderHandoff is a Round 1 proposal and initial Markdown Skill for reviewing a small authorized document folder against an explicit checklist. It aims to produce a source-grounded handoff summary that separates supported findings, ambiguous candidates, unresolved items and incomplete coverage.
Proposed workflow
Confirm one folder and up to ten expectations. List immediate children, select at most twenty documents, review their evidence, display findings and ask whether to save the summary. Source files are not moved, deleted or shared. Conflicting versions remain unresolved rather than being selected by filename or timestamp.
Architecture
The Markdown orchestration Skill delegates to registered experts: ug-filesystem for listing, ug-document question answering over verified selected paths, and optional ug-knowledge text saving after approval. It contains SKILL.md and directly linked Markdown references, not executable scripts. Document instructions are treated as untrusted input.
Development and validation
This new Skill and core workflow were developed during the event, starting October 29, 2026 in Toronto local time. The official creation kit guided an update and its static checker passed without errors or warnings. Independent package checks verified structure and documented action mappings. The submitted proposal contains ten substantive answers totaling 336 words.
NAS installation, runtime behavior and real-device acceptance have not been tested. Planned synthetic cases cover a complete folder, conflicting briefs, missing deliverables, partial or denied access, and explicit approval before saving. Static checks do not establish runtime success.
Limitations
Model extraction can miss evidence. Document support, permissions, complete listings, reference quality, actual AI routing and safe saving require device validation. This is a focused review aid, not audit certification or proof of project completeness.
Credits
OpenAI Codex assisted with static checks and writing under the entrant's direction. The proposal PDF and initial Skill ZIP are attached for judges and organizers. No public runtime demo is claimed.
