Inspiration

I wanted to follow a video tutorial on how to fold shirts in efficient ways but it was hard to follow along with the examples at times due to the speed and a lack of feedback on whether I did it right or not.

What it does

It uses augmented reality to make folding articles of clothing easier by providing visual indicators and feedback as to which step of the folding process the user is in.

How we built it

We started the project off with a boiler plate flutter set up. We then added the flutter ARkit plugin to get the ground running with playing around with augmented reality.

Challenges we ran into

Due to our limited knowledge of computer vision and machine learning in general, we were having a hard time incorporating trained models. We really wanted to use a pre-trained model from Fashion MNIST.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Although we weren't able to utilize machine learning into our project, we were proud of seeing augmented reality come to life and trying out technologies that we were completely unfamiliar with such the flutter framework and computer vision in a short amount of time.
