FocusOrb

Inspiration

We wanted to stop do doom-scrolling, using Instagram, using YouTube, and other things that distract, we wanted something that actively knows, informs, and prompts us when we're distracted instead of doing our intended assignments. This AI is meant to help us our activity to allows us to be more focused.

What it does

FocusOrb is using OpenAi by using an API interface. Our logic lies behind taking screenshots of the current activity, and then detect whether it's relevant to the specified subject or not (the user will tell the chatbot what subject it's doing). Next, the user can ask for breaks, and if the chatbot is convinced and thinks the reason is valid, it'll allow the user to stay on the irrelevant tab. Otherwise, it'll automatically close that tab, so that the user can go back to doing their original task/subject.
