Focusia

Focusia was inspired by the growing need to create a more inclusive learning environment for students, especially those who are neurodiverse or face challenges like ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties. It aims to bridge this gap by providing an AI-powered solution that tailors learning experiences, tracks student progress, and supports teachers with data insights and adaptive content delivery.

Focusia is an AI-driven learning support tool designed to:

• Personalize learning for students based on their individual needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Track student engagement to help teachers adjust lessons and interventions accordingly.
• Provide adaptive content delivery, adjusting lesson difficulty and pacing to match the student’s learning style and attention span.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment, ensuring that neurodiverse students are supported and can learn at their own pace.

Focusia generates individual learning profiles by analyzing student performance, behavior, and feedback. These profiles evolve as students progress, providing real-time insights into their strengths, challenges, and preferences.

We plan to enhance the AI to predict not only student engagement but also identify specific learning gaps, enabling even more personalized recommendations for both students and teachers. And aim to expand our user testing to include a wider range of schools and educational tools to introduce gamified features that encourage learning in a fun, engaging, and motivating way, helping to increase student participation.
