Inspiration

In today’s fast-paced world, staying focused is becoming harder, especially for students and developers dealing with constant distractions. We wanted to create FocusForge to solve this problem by combining essential productivity tools into one simple platform. Instead of switching between multiple apps, users can manage everything in one place and stay more organized and motivated.

What it does

FocusForge is an all-in-one productivity app that helps users stay organized and focused. It includes a task manager for tracking daily goals, a notes feature for writing ideas, and a built-in Pomodoro timer to support deep work sessions. It also provides motivational content to keep users inspired and consistent with their work.

How we built it

We built FocusForge using modern web technologies with a focus on simplicity and performance. The app is designed with a clean and user-friendly interface. Each feature, like tasks, notes, and the timer, is built in a modular way so they work independently but also connect smoothly together. We also used state management to keep everything updated in real time.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge was combining multiple features into one app without making it feel cluttered. Managing the state between tasks, notes, and the timer was also difficult. Another challenge was making sure the Pomodoro timer stayed accurate while the app remained fast and responsive.

Accomplishments that we're proud of
