Inspiration

I noticed how many people struggle to find accessible and personalized mental health support. I wanted to create a tool that uses AI to detect early signs of anxiety and stress, offering timely, customized guidance to help people improve their wellbeing.

What it does

Lumenaa analyzes text and voice inputs to identify emotional patterns linked to anxiety, depression, and stress. It provides:

  • Personalized exercises
  • A 24/7 AI companion chatbot with voice conversation powered by Eleven Labs
  • Connections to licensed professionals when necessary

The app adapts to the user’s language and location for a natural experience.

How I built it

I used Bolt.new’s AI-powered development platform to quickly create the app’s frontend and backend.
Supabase manages authentication and data storage.

The AI features are currently simulated for the hackathon, with plans to integrate real NLP and voice emotion recognition soon.
I have now integrated voice conversation capabilities using Eleven Labs API, enabling natural spoken interactions with the AI companion.

Challenges I ran into

  • Regional restrictions made payment integration challenging.
  • Configuring Supabase’s Row Level Security (RLS) to allow anonymous newsletter subscriptions took some effort.
  • Implementing multilingual support with automatic language detection was complex.
  • Balancing a polished UX/UI while working within Bolt.new’s current features.
  • Integrating Eleven Labs API for voice conversation functionality.

Accomplishments I’m proud of

  • Delivered a functional app with user authentication, subscription tiers, and payment flows.
  • Created a clean, modern UI aligned with mental health branding.
