Inspiration

FocusRoom was inspired by my personal struggle with distractions while working on multiple jobs. I wanted a tool that made focus feel fun, not forced.

What it does

It’s a gamified productivity app that helps you focus—solo or with friends—using a timer, tokens, and an AI assistant named FocusBot.

How we built it

Built with Bolt, Supabase, and Daily.co, we focused on a clean UI, smooth session logic, and a light but motivating and futuristic AI presence.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating video cleanly, managing session states, and designing AI interactions without overwhelming the user.
And oh—Bolt sometimes breaks your entire UI, so be very careful with your prompt. lol 😅

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completing this project is a huge personal milestone. I’m not a developer—and I never imagined I could build something like this in my lifetime.
With the help of AI and Bolt, I turned an idea into a real, working product.
