Focus Music Player

Inspiration

I wanted to build something truly simple, beautiful, and useful. Not just another app—but an experience. And I wanted to do it with just one prompt. That constraint forced me to think clearly and iterate a lot on my single prompt to make it work as expected.

What it does

Focus Music Player helps you get in the zone with looping, ambient soundscapes like “Cozy Café” or “Mountain Wind.” The interface is distraction-free and aesthetically soothing—perfect for deep work or peaceful breaks.

How we built it

This project was built using a single prompt on bolt.new. That meant every UI element, interaction, and animation had to be crystal clear from the start. The sounds were all generated using ElevenLabs and videos took from pexels.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was working within the limits of a single AI-generated prompt—there was no backtracking or iteration. Everything needed to be perfect from the first run: layout, structure, responsiveness, and feel. Getting audio loops to feel natural was another nuanced detail.
