Inspiration:
What if you could use technology and a well designed experience to turn “focus” or “enjoyment” brain-states into social-connection?
What it does:
VR and BCI used in a social experience focused on feeling a sense of presence with another person.
How we built it:
We built it with Unity and C# for the Meta Quest Pro, and we incorporated the Neuos SDK from Arctops' BCI headbands.
Challenges we ran into:
Getting data from the BCI device was a challenge!
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
Learning new technology and hacking Quest Pro controllers are things that were hard work and we are super proud of!
What we learned:
How to use brain data in VR environments.
What's next for Focus-Fungus.
We would like to accentuate the hide and seek features and turn it into more of a challenging game.
