Pending Apple Approval: Why Focus Flights Isn’t in the App Store Yet

One of the most essential features of Focus Flights is “Airplane Mode”, which leverages Apple’s Screen Time and Family Control frameworks. This feature allows users to block specific app notifications and limit distractions, enabling a truly focused environment.

However, due to the nature of this feature, it requires additional review by Apple. The Screen Time and Family Control technologies are designed to ensure users can manage their time and app usage across devices, often involving parental control functionalities. Since Airplane Mode relies on this framework, we have requested a distribution entitlement for the feature, which requires extended review to ensure it aligns with Apple’s guidelines on privacy, security, and appropriate use of these controls.

While we’ve been waiting for several weeks, we understand the importance of this review process and are confident that once approved, Focus Flights will be ready to deliver its full potential to users.
