How we built it

We built our project by using Javascript, CSS, and HTML.

Challenges we ran into

Two teammates are in Canada and one is in China. The thirteen-hour time difference made us very hard to communicate for the project whenever we want. Also, only two of us have some basic knowledge of front-end development and the other one didn’t learn anything about web development before.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We tried something new. None of us have experience building a chrome extension before. We are proud that we complete our project on time and the extension gets all the goals we set at the beginning.

What we learned

We learned how to build a chrome extension. One of our teammates learned CSS, HTML, and JavaScript in only five hours.

I helped to work on the reminders and notes part of the extension. I used mainly JavasScript to get notifications working and setting the current reminders. I used HTML for the front-end display and CSS for styling.

Owais Siddiqui
I worked on the music playing part of this extension. This was my first time learning JavaScript and build a chrome extension. Very happy that I really learned lots of new web development knowledge!

Zixiao Ren
I worked with creating the manifest.json file while working with Javascript to help link the music with the aid of Zixiao, HTML in order to design the popup, and a very small amount of CSS. I also worked with Shotcut in order to create the demo.
