Inspiration

Fraud occurs in all sectors in this world now. One of the fraud such as Food Fraud that includes the act of purposely altering, misreading, misleading, substituting or tampering with any food product at any point along the farm-to table food supply-chain.

What it does

A blockchain system is introduced which lets consumer to know the origin of its food he is consuming as well as certain details that includes it manufacturer, origin of food, number of suppliers issued it as well as dates and time.

How I built it

Blockchain is a public, distributed and decentralized ledger, where information is encrypted and stored in a tamper-proof and secure way. Once data is entered into the system and validated, it becomes unalterable.

IoT (Internet of Things) enabled devices is used to implement traceability that covers each phase of the supply chain including production, logistics and distribution.​

Challenges I ran into

Implementing it to ground level and making customers and supplier chain in starting which needs investment.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The system i made is : Transparent, trustworthy, legal validity, traceabilty, Anti-counterfeiting​ and Interconnection​. So using this system i can see everything crystal clear.

What I learned

Learned how to prevent the food fraud also realised that my system can be back-tracked hence this supply chain is back-track possible which is amazing in many ways and is advantage for any supplu-chain.

What's next for fo-track

Since the COVID-19 situation is all over world, we need each and everything to be tracked in supply-chain. If there is any infected person in supply chain we can bak track the process to know the actual source of spread. Food delivered will be clean to customer and if customer is infected by any chance with covid-19, we have option of backtracking.
