Inspiration

Since I got into the Polkadot Ecosystem, I have had a lot of instances where I received payments in the Polkadot native stablecoins. As a Nigerian, converting my stablecoins into Naira has always been a thorn in the ass.

I have to go through several exchanges, swaps and transfers before I can finally get my stablecoins converted into naira and spend as I wish, this motivated me to build a solution for myself and other Nigerians who are Polkadot users. I then came up with an idea of a Webapp that I can just connect to my Polkadot wallet and swap my stablecoin tokens in exchange for Naira.

Why Fluxipay? Target Audience: Polkadot native assets holders, Polkadot enthusiasts and creators who want naira in exchange for DOT native currency. Solution provided: Allows seamless conversion of DOT currencies into naira, removing the needs for third party exchanges. Similar Projects: No Polkadot-Naira swap website that i know as at the time of writing this document.

What it does

This project consists of three major parts, they are;

Token deposit and deduction.
Token conversion into local currency e.g Naira.
Payout of Token equivalent in Naira into the provided naira account. ## How we built it The underlying infrastructure for the project is as follows; Frontend for users to interact with the Application. Wallet Connection Extension using Lunokit. PolkadotApi and Lunokit to manage funds transfers on the Polkadot blockchain. Deducts the specified tokens from the user's wallet. A backend to handle transactions and conversions. Converts DOT/USDC to Naira. Sends Naira to the user account via Monify Updates transaction status.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We already have successful swapping of tokens into fiat and a successful deposit of fiat currency in to users Naira accounts in this testing stage. After testing, we are ready to move to live usage of the product
