Inspiration
The inspiration for FluxCache was to make users feel financially secure and be able to invest and make informed decisions when doing so. Also, it is a useful tool that should be able to assist those unfamiliar to trading get into it and feel confident.
What it does
Gives suggestions on stocks and what stocks to invest in. Also gives data so users can make accurate choices.
How we built it
We used Django, HTML, python, CSS, and PHP. Also used some libraries such as yfinance, pandas, numpy, and matplotlib.
Challenges we ran into
Web hosting took a lot of time to figure out. Google cloud was not as friendly in integrating a domain from domain.com. Tensorflow was harder to implement.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We ended up having a fairly solid website in the end that would allow users to get a great sense of what we offer and would offer in the future.
What we learned
We learned how to use numerous different libraries and softwares such as HTML, CSS, Django, and PHP. We learned how to work better as a team together.
What's next for FluxCache
Deploy to an online site. Create more pages for stocks and tracking. Create a blog section to give young adults advice of finance and investing in general. Integrate automatic texting and emailing API to allow investors to be notified of shifts in the market live.
