Our idea

We as team Flutterd took an initiative to make a difference. We thought to make an app which connects, protects and stands for the LGBTQ community. Where people can lodge complaints against any wrongs done against them.

Working of the app

The framework used was flutter, which works on dart. And the server which was used is firebase. We are using firebase for storing real time data and for authenticating the users. The interaction with the server is done using rest APIs.

Features

The main feature of the app is anyone from the community if faces any problems like harassment or discrimination. They can instantly report that from the app and the admin can see the complaints. The admin can be a separate department or it can be a police station or a NGO too.

Future scope Along with this, we also thought of some more features for the app. Like people will be able to find and discover each other and form a close knit community. People can post blogs i.e. stories about anything they like. If anyone needs any mental support, the person will be able to contact to a mental health specialist who will counsel one on one and help them out.
