Inspiration
I got inspired mostly by the puzzles I got from airplane trips when I was a kid. Always with different images and sizes, so that's how I made my game.
What it does
It's an infinite puzzle where you can add your own images, so it's your own personal puzzle.
How I built it
With Flutter, Redux, GraphQL and NodeJS (with NestJS).
Challenges I ran into
Making the UI, I am practically new flutter apart from a hello world app and a small MVP, so making the UI look how I wanted with widgets was hard. Setting animations was the challenge that got the best of me, so I'm going to study animations before the next time I use flutter.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The custom painter. It open the world of possibilities, since now I can have the puzzle infinite and with any image.
What I learned
I learned how to use flutter and it's state management with redux.
What's next for Flutter Slider
Add a head to head and a hexagon puzzle, I tried but I simply didn't have the time.
