Inspiration
Every-day-Life. What is life without embarrassing moments when we get butterflies in our stomachs? We were inspired by the fear of embarrassment and how it can be a limitation in life, and how it prevents people from going out there and being their best selves.
What it does
Our app, FLUTTER, measures bodily conditions associated with embarrassment, such as heart rate, body temperature, and sweat levels. When the embarrassing moment is recorded, the user can then reflect on and own up to it later by journaling about it and turning it into a positive.
How we built it
We built it using Figma Prototype. We used animations, interactions, and visuals to create a compelling user experience that fosters a confident future on both human and visual levels.
Challenges we ran into
As a team of designers, seeing eye to eye was challenging at times, as we all had slightly different ideas of how to approach this project visually and conceptually. However, we would hear each other out on each other's ideas and either go with one person's idea if we all agreed upon it, or we would combine ideas to create the best possible version of our project.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the interface we designed, as it matches our vision for the platform in that it is futuristic while also being welcoming, organic, and colorful. We are also happy with the way the prototype and animations came out, as we worked hard on the motion graphics.
What we learned
We learned how to use FigmaMake and collaborate well on the various Figma platforms to make a cohesive project and an efficient workflow between all teammates. We also had a clear process from ideation to execution and all steps in between using FigJam.
What's next for Flutter
Next, we want to make it real and encourage everyone to make fools of themselves. Let's all Flutter together!
Update
This is our original version of Flutter submitted for the project, updates to our figbuild presentation present in our demo video. [ Original Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azmXnF1TKVA&feature=youtu.be]
