Inspiration
Depression is one of the highest diagnosed cases of mental illness among college students.
California has rich plant biodiversity, more so than any U.S. state. It is important to preserve it.
What it does
To introduce individuals to the possibilities and positive benefits of animal therapy, and increase their awareness of endangered plant species in California.
How we built it
A combination of Wix and Front End tools including HTML, CSS, and bootstrap.
Challenges we ran into
Not able to link to actual animal shelters or therapists for direct access. Difficulties formatting and styling certain components of plant webpage.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Proud of overall visual layout, as well as persevering even though our project wasn't what we expected.
What we learned
New CSS attributes for styling specific HTML elements. For example, learned how to incorporate a gradient. Also learned how to run my files in the browser.
What's next for Fluffy Therapy and Plant Preservation
Continue adding more content and trying to link to actual animal shelters and therapists.
