Inspiration

Inspired by interactivity while still being helpful in educating. Other similar applications such as sponsor youlearn or other language based learners.

What it does

Uses Ollama AI model to generate conversations and generate short quizes with multiple choice. Allows you to choose any language even being able to switch in the middle of your conversation.

How we built it

With react and python. Used the domain fluentlearning.study

Challenges we ran into

Everything, we were all beginners so just trying to figure out how to start or just get something to show up on our computers.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having a website. Having at least something that is functional. Getting the AI to connect and receive data with memory.

What we learned

How to utilize GitHub in a team based manner. How to use react and the building blocks of a web app. How to work with AI, API's, and different models.

What's next for Fluent

Maybe if ambitious enough keep working on it to make it better.
