FluConnect is a Facebook application that allows users to connect to flu events identified by CDC. Users connect to events in the dataset "XML source of the Weekly Flu Activity Report". This tool allows people to easily identify who in their friends list is sick, and in what location. Users can report to flu events by selecting their state, and a time period that they experienced the flu. The application allows you to report being sick, or getting vaccinated during a specific flu event in the dataset. Once someone reports being sick or vaccinated their post can also be seen by other users under the "Users connected to this event" feature.
