Flu & You

Flu & You is a mobile web application that displays information about current flu activity by state, along with state-specific rates of behavioral and health conditions like smoking and asthma that contribute to the risk of developing complications from the flu. Users can also view past flu activity for a given state, based on the past data from CDC's weekly reports. The application also offers up-to-date feeds of CDC's flu tweets, headlines, and podcasts, and can direct users to their state's public health influenza website for localized information. Flu & You uses data feeds provided directly by CDC in conjunction with other Health & Human Services data sets and feeds to provide specific, easy-to-access information about influenza and the importance of seasonal flu vaccination. It's accessible by any mobile device with an internet connection, and can be bookmarked and added to the desktop as a web app on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad).
