FlowTime
FlowTime is a chrome extension that is designed to boost productivity. It contains a stopwatch system, goal-setting, recommendations, and built-in minigames for the user to play during their break.
Inspiration
FlowTime is based around the flowtime technique, a system to help with productivity and work efficiency. It is also inspired by multiple other existing productivity tools.
What it does
FlowTime has an emphasis on flexibility and helping users get into a flow. It allows users to work at their own pace until they get tired, at which point FlowTime gives recommendations for how long to take a break. It also offers minigames during the break for the user to enjoy.
How we built it
The chrome extension was built using html, and the content was built using p5.js.
Challenges we ran into
- Time management
- Scheduling conflicts
- Never made a chrome extension before

- Integrating the minigames into the break
- Creating the art and theme
- Building a complex stopwatch system with work and break periods
