Flowstate_focus

Inspiration

When I study, there are sometimes a time where I can't focus. Flowstate-focus is inspired from that, and helps students to focus.

What it does

Using computer vision, it detects facial and pose landmarks of the person. When the posture is poor, the app will notify users to strengthen their posture. Furthermore, when they look away for more than seven seconds, it reminds user to get back on task. It is a minimal UI app that helps students to focus.

How we built it

I used lovable as the main tool to build the website, with me manually changing some codes as well. It leverages google mediapipe.

Challenges we ran into

There were tons of issues with google mediapipe, with one being not able to detect the posture well.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I have leveraged my computer vision skills into this small project.

What we learned

I learned how computer vision can be transcribed into multiple different tasks.

What's next for Flowstate_focus

I plan to strengthen the computer vision system.
