Inspiration
After covering one of my original songs with Suno, I felt inspired to create a video for it.
What it does
I created a rapper persona named Lil SUNO, who describes a character called Flow, who is either an alien or a clone.
How we built it
I first covered my original song with Suno to complete it. Then, I set up a concept for the music video and used Midjourney to test various characters, eventually choosing two. I created different scenes that matched the concept, selected the best ones, added additional lip-syncing where necessary, and edited everything together.
Challenges we ran into
Maintaining consistency in the scenes with characters was quite challenging. I had to come up with tricks to make everything feel as natural as possible. The generation process felt like gambling, which led to significant costs and made it difficult to create high-quality videos.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud that I created a unique piece of art that reflects the characteristics of AI rather than just using it as an excuse for a lackluster project. It’s also meaningful that I've found an attractive way to use AI, which is still developing and has a long way to go.
What we learned
AI has its own distinct feel. I realized that striving to perfectly replicate reality might not always be the best approach. I believe there needs to be a shift in thinking to turn AI's quirks into unique features rather than awkwardness.
What's next for Flowrizer
Next, I plan to use lip-syncing and motion capture more actively. As a Korean, I also want to create something related to K-pop.
