FlowHub combines traditional CRM functionality with quality-of-life improvements designed for insurance professionals:

How we built it

Frontend: React Vite CSS

Backend: FastAPI Postgres OpenAI API WhatsApp API Twilio API Uvicorn SQLAlchemy 2.0 Alembic Pydantic

Challenges we ran into

Integrating multiple APIs seamlessly: Application → OpenAI API → Twilio API → WhatsApp API → Application

Integrating application with WhatsApp API to send messages, images or emojis without leaving the application

Generating daily, weekly or monthly tasks using AI with minimal background context

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Connecting the application sidebar to different pages using React

Quality-of-life improvements for cold messaging, setting up meetings and google map trips

What we learned

Managing time within short due date

Handling API errors, response delays and google authentication issues

Balancing additional features against available development time

Designing AI features for automated response/context generation
