Inspiration

FlowForma was headed up by Neil Young, who spotted an opportunity for a BPM tool while working on a customer project in Ireland’s leading IT services providers, Ergo. Neil had worked with Microsoft technologies for over 20 years.

How we built it

The FlowForma BPM tool was officially launched in May 2013 and incubated within Ergo for a further 3 years. It was self-funded from Ergo with support from Enterprise Ireland that really enabled Neil Young to get a team behind this product quickly.

Challenges we ran into

We as a company regularly assess our teams’ skillset to ensure we have the right coverage. There are some gaps and particularly in the area of product marketing. That role requires someone who is commercially astute while also being product aware.

Accomplishments that we are proud of

FlowForma received multiple G2 Winter 2024 Awards, ranging from Best Support to High Performer and Momentum Leader. FlowForma also won the Office App Awards People's Choice Award and the Best Office 365 Add-In from the European Sharepoint Community.

What we have learned

"In life you need to be resilient. Everyone experiences setbacks in some shape or form but don’t let the knocks or low points dampen your desire to succeed.
