Inspiration

Undertale was the inspiration because of its unique design and game functionality.

What it does

This game gives you a fun experience to explore a new island.

How we built it

We used Godot to provide the best game for the user, as it is very simple to use. We also designed all the art in the game using Asesprite (pixel art software) and the music using Tracktion Waveform 12.

Challenges we ran into

One of us had previous experience using Godot but the other did not making it hard to get started. We used the new 4.0 beta version of Godot this made sourcing information and videos to learn with very hard to find for our version. Time was also a hard challenge and made us be very productive when creating this game. We had large ambitions for this game and with that came a lot of map design and game functionality.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to pick up and learn a new game engine quickly. We are very proud of the aesthetic and overall design of the game.

What we learned

We learned a lot about game design and how to use Godot, as well as designing, creating and making art . We also learned how to work in a group setting and placing goals for the day.
