🚀 Inspiration
FlowTrack was inspired by a real-life pregnancy scare I experienced — a moment of panic that could have been completely avoided with a reliable, intuitive cycle tracker. That experience drove me to create something that would empower users to track, predict, and understand their cycle with clarity and confidence.
This app became my one-shot prompt submission to the Bolt $1M Hackathon, built entirely with one well-engineered AI prompt.
💡 What It Does
FlowTrack helps users: • Log their period start and end dates • Predict upcoming cycles, ovulation, and fertile windows • Track physical and emotional symptoms • View analytics such as average cycle length and period duration • Stay in control with a clean calendar view and dashboard • Avoid pregnancy scares through clear visual forecasting
🏗️ How We Built It
This app was built in a single shot using AI and Bolt, with the following tech stack: • Frontend: ReactJS + TailwindCSS • Backend & Auth: Supabase (Auth, DB, Functions) • Calendar: react-calendar for visualizing cycles and ovulation windows • Analytics: Chart.js to show trends and averages • Hosting: Netlify for frontend, Supabase for backend • Built via: One-shot prompt using ChatGPT and Bolt AI
🧩 Challenges We Ran Into • Crafting the perfect one-shot prompt to ensure Bolt generated the complete app, not placeholders • Setting up Supabase integration, especially connecting auth and database flows cleanly
