Inspiration
I was inspired by this specific theme because it allowed me to explore modeling data types and predictions which could benefit people.
What it does
A Prediction Model Application using datasets, aggregation, and GIS software to minimize property damages and bodily harm caused by flooding along the Skagit Valley River.
A prediction model application can notify interested parties about potential flooding events, and predict when flooding events are likely to happen based on aggregated data.
Challenges we ran into
• Determining necessary data required in order to create a comprehensive prediction model • Determining what the prediction model potential looks like; AI bot or Application/program ? • Small group - production constraints
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of designing a general concept and identifying necessary types of data which would be required to train/use a prediction model.
