Inspiration
Weather forecasting software has inspired us to forecast floods too.
What it does
Predicts flood based on a region's past records and topography.
How we built it
We build it using flood patterns and designed an algorithm using that data.
Challenges we ran into
Hilly, desert regions and flash floods were a major challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
It was able to predict floods pretty accurately in most regions.
What we learned
We learned algorithm design and making along with code optimized.
What's next for Flood Prediction
To develop it into a full app.
