Flood Guide

Inspiration

We wanted to help inform people in Tamil Nadu, specifically those near the coast, about flooding and disaster preparedness, as the lack of knowledge contributes to many lives lost.

What it does

Our solution is a simple website containing essential information.

How we built it

We used Google Sites to put it together, and implemented several built in features to embed certain things.

Challenges we ran into

We struggled with finishing within the timeframe, and we also couldn't implement a chatbot in time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we have a submission.

What we learned

We learned how to set up an AI powered chatbot, how to create a chatroom for users to interact, and how to pull map data into a program.

What's next for Flood Guide.

We want to be able to integrate all the things we learned, like setting up a chatroom and chatbot for users to have access to more resources.
