Inspiration: I'm an artist in theatre, poetry, and Film. I was inspired by the constant submission deadlines and the want for a platform that an artist can maximize their creativity.
What it does: Flo-Write is the text editor for artists. The four options to write in right now are stageplay, screenplay, poem, and songwriting. With all formats featuring a metronome that can be altered in speed to help with rhythm.
How we built it: I built it out of an idea in Google AI studio and seeing that there is a lot of room for me to be able to design and extend the original foundation laid out by Google.
Challenges we ran into: Formats and rules of each format. The screenplay option does not have the indentation necessary, so a lot of editing to get it right.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: I am proud that the product is 90% there. I already love the layout and how the Google AI helps and reacts to make the product better.
What we learned: That challenges and problems are good to understand the full capabilities of Flo-Write.
What's next for Flo-Write: What is next is to be able to add more fonts, texts styles and expand on the rules of each writing format. A startup page that loads all saved projects.
