Flip is an AI esports coach that transforms real-time match data into actionable strategic insights. We built it to solve a critical problem: coaches don't have time to analyze hours of opponent footage before scrims.

Instead of spending 4+ hours manually reviewing VODs, teams can now:

• Generate AI scouting reports in under 60 seconds
• Get live win-probability predictions during matches
• Send tactical callouts to Discord voice channels with AI voice

What We Built

1. AI Scouting Reports

   • Pulls real data from GRID (Gen.G, T1, Cloud9, etc.)
   • Analyzes champion pools, vision scores, first blood rates
   • Exports print-ready PDFs for team briefings

2. Oracle Predictor (Real-Time Scenarios)

   • "What if we're 3v5 with bomb planted?"
   • Uses real team win rates from GRID to calculate probabilities
   • Recommends save/retake/force with AI reasoning

3. Discord Voice Integration

   • Sends OpenAI TTS callouts to Discord voice channels
   • Tactical commands: "Enemy down mid!", "Rotate A!"
   • Hype reactions: "CLUTCH!", "ACE!", "SHEESH!"

• OpenAI GPT-4 & TTS (Analysis + Voice)

• Prisma + PostgreSQL (Data persistence)
• Better Auth (Authentication)

Challenges We Faced

1. GRID API Complexity: Different games (LoL, Valorant) have different schemas. We built a dynamic query system to handle this.
2. Discord Voice Stability: Socket closures were killing our bot. We implemented auto-reconnect with connection monitoring.
3. Real-Time TTS Latency: Switched from ElevenLabs to OpenAI's new TTS for sub-500ms latency.

• Live match tracking with auto-generated callouts
• Team analytics dashboard (practice vs. scrim performance)
• Mobile app for coaches to access reports on the go
