Inspiration

The CS degree is a grind — deadlines, projects, and responsibilities pile up fast. We wanted to build something that gives students a mental breather in the middle of it all.

What it does

Flight is a mental space to decompress. A calm, focused environment to clear your head and reset.

How we built it

We built it with React, Agents, and gitHub, dividing the work and bringing it together into one cohesive experience. Facilitated with SWE and UX/UI principles.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The mind map was really good to see come to life--we actually used it ourselves during the hackathon. Seeing the completed tasks pop up on the "victories" list was also satisfying and just behaviorally rewarding.

What we learned

Don't be afraid to get started! The fastest way to figure out if something works is to just build it.

What's next for Flight

Scaling with Firebase, adding proper authentication, and possibly introducing a built-in chatbot companion named Clara.
