Flickit

Inspiration Our inspiration is simple. Until we came to the event we didn't have any idea. But in between the morning inauguration, we find one of the organizers of event struggling with ppt presentation even though he had remote control over it.

What it does This project, Flickit allows users to control presentation slides using hand gestures. By using a camera and AI-powered hand tracking, the program detects specific gestures:

Fist Closed or Fist Open: Move to the next slide. Two Fingers Up (index and middle finger): Go to the previous slide

How we built it using MediaPipe for real-time hand gesture detection and OpenCV for video processing.A cooldown mechanism ensures smooth transitions between slide actions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We are totally beginners to this and we didn't have much knowledge about the concepts but we tried our level best to build this project by referring the youtube videos and chatgpt

What we learned As beginners, we learned how to use MediaPipe for real-time hand tracking and gesture recognition, and how to process video using OpenCV.
