FLEX (Flexible Learning, Education, and Experience

Inspiration

My own experiences with apps like google classroom made things difficult to stay organized and it was annoying to have everything run through different apps.

What it does

The app includes a section that will adjust the way lessons are taught based on each students' preferences. It has a separate section for homework, upcoming tests, and already graded assignments along with a class grade. There is also a chat feature that allows students to communicate with each other and the teacher for projects and group assignments easily.

How we built it

The app is made using Figma.

Challenges we ran into

There were a lot of design issues, some of which I still haven't fixed, and due to a large number of time constraints I had on myself this weekend, I was not able to bring it all together and have it function cohesively as one app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am glad that I was able to come up with a number of solutions to a number of problems rather than just one.

What we learned

There are many ways to go about accomplishing the same thing, and sometimes it takes many attempts to find the best one.

What's next for FLEX (Flexible Learning, Education, and Experience

I hope to continue working on the app until it is all flowing well and as one rather than just being multiple stand-alone screens as it is. Then as I continue to hone my programming skills, I want to start working on making the different features of the app function.
