Inspiration

My Inspiration for this project was all the event posters that I constantly see posted around my community. I thought it would be really fun and less wasteful if there was a way for people to "stumble" onto events digitally.

What it does

I wanted Flek to enable people to create a variety of different events; whether a small random street performance, a band playing at someone's house or a large scale haunted house at a farm. Whatever the venue or the need; people should have a means of connecting with people in their communities to make it happen.

How we built it

I built it out in Lucidcharts and then in Bolt.

Challenges we ran into

I hit a huge road block when I wasn't able to get the most use out of uploading my wireframes, but was able to make the most of it by referencing them as a prompted in Bolt.new.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I put myself out there and tried a new technology.

What's next for Flek

I hope to continue refining and possibly offer a more robust version with a mobile app, but for now I thinkin of refining the overall design.
