Fleet7: The Trust Operating System

Inspiration

We saw local rental shops in places like Bali and Dubai drowning in WhatsApp chats and messy spreadsheets. These owners were exhausted just trying to keep track of their bikes and cars. We wanted to build a "Trust Operating System" that gives these small businesses the same professional automation as the big guys, but without the headache.

What it does

Fleet7 is an all-in-one platform that automates the boring stuff. It has a dashboard for owners and a clean portal for customers. It handles everything: booking on a calendar, automated WhatsApp alerts, and even checking payment screenshots. We also added a "Brain Mode" that flags issues in real-time so owners can actually relax.

How we built it

We used React for a smooth frontend and built a multi-tenant backend so every user's data is totally isolated and private. We hooked up the WhatsApp Business API for the automation and built a Logic Builder so owners can set up their own rules without writing a single line of code.

Challenges we ran into

Syncing inventory in real-time across different locations was a nightmare. We had to make sure two people couldn't book the same scooter at the exact same second.

We also had to ensure our ROI calculations were mathematically sound. For example, we calculate the potential revenue increase \( \Delta R \) using the formula: $$ \Delta R = (U_{new} - U_{old}) \times V \times P $$ Getting that formula to work with real-world data while keeping the UI simple was a huge challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The ROI calculator is a big win—it shows owners exactly how much money they're missing out on. We're also proud of the Main Tour; it makes a complex system feel easy to use from the very first login.

What we learned

We learned that automation is really about peace of mind. It’s not just about the code; it’s about making the owner's life easier. We also got much better at designing isolated databases and building a dark mode that actually looks good.

What's next for Fleet7

Next up is AI maintenance to predict when a bike needs a service before it breaks. We’re also adding Stripe for easier payments. We want Fleet7 to be the standard for anyone renting out anything on wheels.
