Inspiration

My inspiration was based on my experience as an IT director at a government institution, where I saw the need for proper fleet management. I found Bolt.New a way to bring my idea to reality.

What it does

Its purpose is to manage the vehicle fleet of our country's government institutions. Each institution would have a customized installation of this application. A SASS-type solution wasn't possible due to local laws. This management includes the inventory of vehicles with the status of their various maintenance needs. There is a PWA-style version of this application for end users to interact with the core. Try out using "admin@admin.com" and "123456" Password.

How we built it

Thanks to Bolt, I was able to have a highly complete and functional version in less than a week. Thanks to its integration with GitHub, I was able to maintain good version control and local code editing for specific topics. Thanks to its integration with SUPABASE, connecting my application to the database, having an authentication system, and a storage solution was simple and fast, significantly impacting development time. Thanks to its integration with Netlify, I was able to have my version online, extremely fast, easy, efficient, and cost-effective for a single developer.

Challenges we ran into

The codebase can grow very quickly. This affects the use of tokens. We must try to make the number of logical components as separate as possible to minimize the impact of the necessary context.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

My integration with an online LLM service and the TAVUS AI Conversation through an API was a very important goal for this system. Thanks to Bolt, the UI/UX of the solution was quick and satisfactory. I only had to add custom code.

What we learned

I learned that it's necessary to push yourself to create complex solutions. Don't be afraid to dream of an application with the desired features. The more goals you set, the more experience you gain, and the more effectively you learn to converse with AI. It's also necessary and important to rely on other AIs to create better prompts.

What's next for Fleet Management System
