Inspiration
Coming from my friends that have car rents company, he want to know his renters driving behavior because GPS only are not enough.
What it does
This Dashboard is to manage vehicles that are great fit for Vehicle rent company and logistics company, from this dashboard we can see statistic based on demographics data and driving logs like ignitions, speed change, soft brakes, hard brakes, boundaries violations, speed limit violations, etc.. that can be useful by marketing, sales or company owner to determine their forecast, we can also see driving behaviors of our renters or drivers.
How we built it
To build this application I'm using Ruby on Rails, and adminkit template for dashboard UI, chartkick for charts.
Challenges we ran into
I only have experience as backend developer, so the challenges that I face is I have no idea how to present statistic data, what data that we need to show and how to build the front end, I spent a lot of time to figure it out.
